"I had several elk and deer antlers lying around a corner of my studio and their sinuous shapes suggested the initial drawing for Remnants. As I worked, other forms and images began to emerge. These relate to visual associations I had about the relationship between man and animals in mythology and ritual. Some of the figures are historic, others are glyphs of my own invention."

This lithograph was hand printed at Stone Press in Seattle, Washington on Rivers white paper, with four deckle edges, using Handchy Master Palette inks.
