This is a commissioned poster for a company that researches family histories in Alberton, Montana. Monte took special attention to include the owners of the business into the creative process.  For the final concept he wanted somehow to personalize it. So the owner's wife brought him a wedding photo of her grandparents and he added it to the scene coming out of the typewriter.  That part of the poster is a independent original watercolor that now hangs in their home.
