This landscape of Flathead Lake at night is one of Monte's most popular pieces. It features the multi-hewed waves lapping the small Narrows Islands in the foreground, towering, majestic pines jutting out from either side and, with pastel purples, pinks and blues of distant Mission Mountains and a moonrise in the far background.

These are the kind of pieces in which Monte gets to highlight his exceptional talent at landscape-with meticulous brushwork and understanding of color, he creates realistic, yet somehow magical, landscapes of Montana. 

 All note cards are printed on recycled paper with soy based inks. Note cards come boxed in sets of six cards with white envelopes made from recycled paper.
