Monte was inspired to create this image through the memory of fishing trips on the Missouri river with his father as a young boy. 

 All note cards are printed on recycled paper with soy based inks. Note cards come boxed in sets of six cards with white envelopes made from recycled paper. 

This image is also available as a lithograph. The lithograph is part of a series of three lithographs in the Upper Missouri River Suite. Cottonwood on The Missouri and Solitude of The Missouri are the other images in the suite.
