This quiet note card is full of detail and intrigue. Subtly placed arrowheads and rocks work together harmoniously throughout the composition while the attention to color and texture make revisiting this image a pleasure. 

"One autumn day I was intrigued by the patterns and transcience of fallen leaves on the water of Rattlesnake Creek, floating above the colored stones whose existance was so much less ephemeric. I call the painting Streamside, which is an encaustic (oil and wax painting)."
