This piece was inspired by a painting that Monte did of some friends dancing at their wedding - he then substituted the fish for the bride the the fisherman for the groom. This is one of Monte's most popular pieces-it perfectly highlights his visual whimsy, while also showing his ability to render a beautiful Montana landscape. This poster is also available signed.  An archived study of the painting can be viewed here.  This piece is used on the label of Bayern Brewery's "Dancing Trout" beer.
